Hi, we’re Bridgitte and Bryan.

We’re renovating our first home ourselves while juggling full-time jobs, learning new skills, making plenty of mistakes and sharing everything along the way.

BB Home Edits started as a way to capture the process of transforming a home, but it’s quickly become a place to share the decisions, lessons, and reality behind taking on renovations ourselves. We completed our first renovation back in 2021 – a 2 bedroom apartment where we transformed the layout to add an ensuite, open up the kitchen and make the space feel more modern.

Who we are

Bryan is naturally hands-on and can turn his hand to just about anything, while I’m very much learning as we go – figuring things out, asking questions, and building confidence with each project.

Together, we take a practical approach to renovating: improving how a home functions, making considered design decisions, and focusing on changes that genuinely add value – both day-to-day and long-term.

What we’re doing

Our latest project is Oliva House – a home with great bones, but plenty of opportunity to improve how the space is used and experienced.

We’re working through the renovation step-by-step, taking on as much as we can ourselves and learning along the way.
